Cross-Training is Not a Crime

Many of us run through injuries. We run through illness, fevers and all.

We see marathoners keep slogging forward through pain.


We see ultras running ridiculous distances, passing out from dehydration, only to rise again and complete the race .

So why can't we meager mortals push past some minor pain here and there?

I say screw that noise.

If you're injured from running, QUIT RUNNING.

Not forever.

But for now.

Cross-train.

It's not a sin.

Find something else you like to do that gives you a good workout and do it.

Not guilty conscience.

Make it guilt free.

The work-out will do this for you.

Sweating is its own reward.
